very close copy of the orac it would appear.
pedro_the_swift has one very similar for sale i believe.
I just found this brand of coupling after stumbling across it on another forum.
I have a RRC so wanted a coupling that enabled me to have my gooseneck "flipped" up for best ground clearance, and be able to open the tailgate. The Tregg is very tall so the gooseneck had to be down which really reduced the departure angle. The nose of the trailer is also a bit down.
I was going to buy an ORAC, but am impressed by the strength and price of the BATC. It also bolts on, so I could DIY, as my Tregg is a bolt on inertia braked type coupling.
It cost 165+GST+13.50 freight so is also a lot cheaper than an Orac.

Yes , I responded to Pedro's ad using the "contact seller" button, but got no reply. AFAIK from the picture Pedro's is not an ORAC either.
So I happened to see the BATC and the discussion on it, and decided to buy one. I am very impressed. It is VERY overengineered for my 500Kg trailer, as it is ADR approved to 3500Kg.
The guy who bought the BATC was not impressed by the ORAC, in terms of slop etc. Apparently BATC supply several caravan makers. They are quite small and have a poor website, but the product looks good, and IS good
Its an alternative to ORAC anyway.
