OK to use boat trailer seals on camper?

I repacked the bearings on my Campomatic today and replaced the seals.

I saw some boat trailer seals at Supercheap and reckoned they would fit .

I have ALKO parallel bearings which are Falcon rears as inner and outer.
The dimensions of the seal are the same , however it works opposite to a normal seal. The rubber pushes onto the normal seal surface and runs in a stainless track which pushes into the hub where the seal normally goes
    .
There is really nothing to hold the rubber from moving inwards on the shaft except its tension on the seal surface, and while the lips are new and stiff in the outer ,it turns a little on the shaft.
Am I being paranoid or should I maybe put a zip tie or something to stop it moving inwards.
There is really nothing to push it inwards, and I think it would still engage even if it did.
Anyone have any experience with these?
    Regards Philip A

I use them on my boat trailer as most other boaties do. You shouldn't have too many issues with them on a camper, and if you are doing any water crossings then they should be mandatory for that sort of stuff to prevent water getting sucked into the hub. Some bearing buddies also help to keep the grease under pressure and prevent this. I no longer buy the cheap bearings, buy timkenn or another well known brand, they really do last longer.

I use em on my town trailer - marine seals work for longer than standards but always clean the axle and apply a bead of silicon or some such around the outside edge of the seal to stop it moving inwards. I guess a zip tie would do the job too.
