    Camper Trailer Tents

Has anyone bought a Camper Trailer Tent off eBay or OZtrail, OZtrail advertise (Magazines, eBay) a 6, 8, 9 and 12, I assume they mean Sq. m., the ones on eBay are enormous 25sq. M..
I am after info on how well they are made and whether quality materials are used, any info would be appreciated, Regards Frank.

I have an Oztrail swag (I know it's a bit different), but if the quality is the same it should be good.

    Hi Frank
There are issues with them, which are shared with others.
They DONT like uneven ground,I guess most dont. The brace goes across the door opening onto the trailer,OK if its not windy but in bad weather it needs to be braced, and requires you to step over it.The pitch on the roof could allow pooling/flooding.
Extra roof spars could fix the pooling, uneven ground, its an issue, last time we were camping there were 2 setup together, both looked like they would collapse in a storm.
They are fairly good quality stitching/material wise.Ranger Camping(if you have them over there) usually have them setup on display.
Jik22 has one, maybe try him for a reference.

Andrew, thanks for that, are you referring to the big mutha's (25sq. M) on eBay, or the OZtrail (much smaller) mostly advertised in 4WD magazines, I will PM Jik22 for his view as well, Thanks again, Regards Frank.

    Hi Frank
The ones Im talking about were OZ Trails.1 was a 9 the other a 12.
Have a look at this website, www.adventurecampertralierswa.co.au
Ive ordered their Leveque,it is thier big one,but they do smaller models. They have theirs custom built in China to their specs.
You will be surprised on the pricing, not alot more than an Oz Trail, but much better quality.Send them an Email for a quote, attention Tim,nice bloke to deal with.He is a mate of Jeremeys on here.He looked after me
Trailer height is VERY important, make sure you look into it!!!!
