My camper cost $6K new from them a few years ago, the next closest price for something similar was over $10K. Camper trailer and tent are both made inhouse, saving you heaps.
They will make a tent to suit your trailer.

Interesting.... I didn't know Tambo sold their tents separately.

Stooge I have a Tambo Cooper camper - so I guess the same tent as vogue mentions above.

Mine is now about 4- 5 years old now - excellent bit of gear and you won't find someone more interesting in assisting their customers than Tambo - before and after sale...

    Great people to deal with.

    G'Day Andrew,
The Pic of it set up was at Cape Range NP

I happy with pretty much everything on it !

    Cheers and thanks

    Nice work mate
Where is the photo taken with the camper trailer set up???
Im picking my top up sometime this week.
Tim was very good to deal with.
    Andrew
    Yeah i'll attach some more pic's !
I made the internal part of the trailer come all the way out to the edge as I did not need to store any Jerry cans or gas bottles (can carry enough fuel on vehicle and my stove runs on shelite !) Also this gave me more loading space and I designed it so that when the tent is up there are two drop down flaps in the tent that access the inside of the trailer, in the back opening I have the inverter, 12 v socerts, 240 power point (when on mains) and the switch panel for the Tent led lights, solar panel and water pump, the other opening I can store our bags of cloths etc and get them out from inside the tent !!, I still want to design a draw that will slide out of this spot with all our cloths etc in it !! (one day )

Cheers and good luck with yours.

My mate bought an extreme version. About the only thing extreme was the price.
Build quality average, 2nd hand tyres, average welding, minimal protection for water tank, plumbing terrible, no gas struts or hinges to open trailer from the top - toolbox nice, tent looks like the cheap versions imported from china (i have one ), no seal between tent and top of trailer and rear trailer door - sucks dust and water in!
Oh and the special offer "buy quick" has been running for a while and continues.

Sorry to rain on your parade but if you haven't paid yet have a bit more of a look around there are better ones out there. Pay for a good heavy duty trailer as a start
    Cheers,
    Remy

They make their own trailers now so its not those Mario’s trailer or the Amak ones anymore, its a much better design and more stable trailer.
Keep in mind that it is a budget trailer but at the same time its good value for money. its exactly what we have been looking for and prefect for something we will use 5-6 times a year, we can also detach the tent and use it as just a trailer aswell.

we don’t have any problems opening the main tent section it takes us 7min even quicker then then what they quoted us.. i would suggest if anyone is in the market to just have a look in person. we are very happy with the quality and my husband is a boiler welder, their tent has been upgraded and now since they build their own trailers. you cant beat it for the price check the showroom out. they also released 2 new alloy trailers this months front cover of camper trailer Australia and i saw them on Ch10 last week on the pat 4x4 adventure show

    Excellent news!
My friend seasoned the GIC canvas very well but the annex still leaks. The main section was OK. Maybe you got lucky. I just spent a month camping around the forster area (9 days straight of rain) and every camper trailer i saw with the exception of one had tarps over them for the weather. When the canvas is new and tight then they tend to hold up ok. The water drains off. After a while the canvas will stretch and the problems begin as small sags in the canvas allow water to pool, encouraging more stretching etc. Hope yours continues to be a good one.
    Cheers,
    Remy

I remember my parents having a camper like this when I was younger. Whenever we stayed somewhere where there was likely to be alot of rain we always put a tarp over the top as another layer of protection. It doesn't hurt & when I get one for myself I will do it, even if the camper doesn't collect pools yet.
