I dont think it matters. Muds just drag more. I would be checking its got a good carcass on it.
I have just done a wheel nut conversion on my offroad camper trailer ,so its the same stud patern as the Discotd5 ,what i am wondering is i run a fairly aggresive tyre Silverstone MT117 extreme sport 285/75r16 on the d2 would you run the same tyre tread? or run a 285/75r16 all terrain on the CT ,my thoughts are as long as i run the same size it will still be inter-changable will it be better to run a less aggresive tyre on the CT? what are all you all doing and your thoughts on it?
cheers kelvin

I thought about this too but settled for good AT's. I run 235/85R16 same as the Defender but on steel rims. So they will interchange if need be.

I fitted the same 235/85 MTRs on mine. Both to be interchangeable and when the 4 on the D2 get down to 3/4 tread I could use the new spare on the D2,and the 2 off the camper trailer on the D2 only having to buy 1 new tyre.
