    fan blower

    1996 V8I
    Hi all,
    trying to work out why i have no fan blower, it doesn't work at all, not even on 4.
    No power to the air con or the air re-circulate buttons either,
    Anyone had this happen before??

    I take it you mean inside the cab?

    Mine only works on 3-4
    I have pulled the switch apart, seams to work, checked all contacts.


    Aircon works on 3-4

    I have to look into the fan itself, more

    98 TDi

    Yes inside the cab,
    Fan is dead, nothing on any speed,
    no power to the air-recirc or air con button either

    P.S searched here and on tech chatter, without finding answer

    Great news,

    After being very worried about this problem, and head scratching, thinking bad wiring (big $$$)

    It was a simple relay, it was the K127 Ignition load Relay, located RH footwell, very bottom row closest to the firewall.
