    Ironman Underbody Protection

    Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the below product. I haven't been able to find any reference to them anywhere on the forum

I do, and it's pretty good - taken a hiding.

I spoke at length with Ben from APT about some real serious gear and he's onto it now..

I have passed this onto my mate who was sick of waiting and about to pull the trigger on a Frontrunner... I suspect he will wait a bit longer for Ben. Cheers

I'm getting his first/prototype compressor plate fitted this week .... and if it's ready an early/prototype front bash plate too.

Thanks Tombie. I'll wait and see how much the APT ones are but I suspect they will be more expensive than the ironman protectors.

Never even occurred to me to look at Ironman for D3 or D4 products!

Tombie was that the $380 that you referred to in another thread? That's pretty good value.

How will the APT stuff be better?
Now 2016 D4 HSE 'Leo' and Steve the Triumph Speed Twin
    Then 2010 D4 3.0 HSE 'James'
Then 2010 RRS TDV8 'Roger' w traxide DBS, UHF, Cooper Zeons, Superchips remap
    Then 2010 D4 TDV6 'Jumbo' w traxide DBS
    First love 2002 D2 TD5 'Disco Stu'

When I spoke to Ben I mentioned a "Rally style" under plate...

I want something the full length of the vehicle - the entire vehicle... Ben is working on something around that - and it's likely to have alloy with steel mounting points where applicable.

Some additional protection for the fuel tank would be good also.
