Bahama Gold

Ok so my car is Bahama gold LRC.235 it is a CKD vehicle from Moorebank it is darker than camino gold and it was used in the later part of series 3 production. It was also a range rover colour and the reason my car looks different in some photos is because the camera used in early photos was an ixus 400 and the later photos were taken with a 500d. I had an original panel and the compter mixed colour was spot on. Hope this helps.

This might be it: Camino Gold - Dulux 12137

Obtained from here: http://www.teglerizer.com/mgcolors/M...ursMar2004.pdf

and here: http://www.ozcooper.com.au/paint_codes.htm

Apparently also a MG colour from 1971/72 in Australia.

SIII Paint colours and codes

I just wanted to add that my 1972 series 3 109 is painted a blue colour - not "Marine Blue" or the RAF Blue/Grey but a colour called "Tuscan Blue".

This colour was hard to track down and apparently only used for a very short time in 1972 on English Land Rover & Range Rover vehicles not being exported. My vehicle was imported privately. It has no "true"code (LRV 230 - Land rover original code) in the Australian computer data base, but rather a tint number....i have obtained the paint mix particulars and will scan them for reference by other series 3 owners.

I plan to paint my 109 in it's original colours again as the Marine blue touch up is tired and clearly wrong.
