Nice neat install. That hose routing looks much more like the way the 200Tdi was set up, nice and easy straight across the top of the engine.

The Doc might not be happy about the drain line arrangement though

The drain line is temporary... I just want to know how much oil is actually going through. After 500Klms I'll join it into the turbo oil return line.

Are all 300Tdi Provent testers keeping existing separator

    Nice fit out.

But wondering whether there would be any advantage to not keeping the existing separator but making up some type of adaptor and going straight into the Provent.

Has anyone else done a 300Tdi install with details?

    thanks

Here's my install Another another another 300Tdi Provent Install . I retained the OE cyclone on the basis that it would extend the service life of the provent filter element. (That and my primus iron is 21 years out of test and I can't get it refilled.) I think in another write up, in the common threads section the OE cyclone was not retained and an adaptor made. (here tis Fitted Provent 300Tdi Disco)
