sometimes, speed is your enemy.
What not to do in a 101 when going downhill. I suspect all orifices were locked shut for a week

Not really - but been there done that - there is a Youtube video somewhere of me getting crossed up something similar - as a consequence correct gear to start - steer into the slide, just enough brakes to hopefully slow a little - if all that fails - off the brakes, steer into the slide and brake later, and pray - here endeth the 101 driving lesson.

I seem to remember garrycol in a wallaroo quarry picking up both rear wheels going down a sleep hill and was extremely luckly to get away with it.
My pants were almost brown just watching.
I dont mind pointing my 101 up hill , but down hill I just dont like it as the rear end always feels it is going to over take the front end and the forward control driving position is not a help either.
I found the locker on the front tends to settle the vehicle alot going down the really steep loose decents as the tyres slip less and the vehicle is more controlable.
