The ear plugs are only for longer trips - it does get a BIT LOUD. ALTHOUGH I CAN STILL HEAR WHATS GOING ON ....sorry was I yelling again.

Sounds like an interesting donk, will be looking forward to hearing more about it.

Seems a fairly sound plan. Give me a shout if you need any assistance with things over here.

    Room in the workshop

Sounds as if we are making room in Anthoney's shed.

Thank you all that bit- I will get some earplugs for the delivery and additional for the poor ones who live with the moaners that missed out.

Thanks again for making room for business as usual in AJ workshop.

Hey Brad. Is your S1 the one that has been in the back of his shed for quite some time?

Ventilation and heat in summer and cold in winter is an issue with a 101. I have found extra insulation under the engine cover, particularly over the top of the radiator is an absolute must.

I did this on mine and heat in summer is now bearable (just) and noise is much reduced so that you can even talk.

Ventilation is a weak point - Ron has some vents in the front that seem to work and I am going to put some eyeball vents in the footwells to take fresh air from the tunnel to the footwells.

Nevertheless expect temps inside to be about 10 degrees warmer than outside even with the sides up - until outside temp then drops - then cold all round.

A lot of heat comes in through the canvas roof when the sun is out.

    S1

    No Mick

I just went around to get some parts and there were a line up of leafers awaiting attention and the 101 were dominating the landscape.

Thought I would just make comment re amount of communication concerning these 3 vehicles that had been awaiting new owners.
