Super cool mods for your GS!!!

Yes, you read it right, super cool mods for your GS 101!!!

Ahh **** it, I can't be arsed keeping that up...

Anyways, Stuee asked for the pics of the light bar, thought the battery tray and air filter door might also be of interest.

All tried and tested, I've done the battery tray on another truck too, this one was a bolt on, the other was welded. Opens up a fair bit of space in the back to lose the standard battery box.

Thanks heaps for that. A light bar like that will be a longer term project for me. I kept wondering how best to mount the driving lights on mine, I like the look of this method the best. A few slimline LED bars up top is all I would change. Really suites the look of the truck IMO.

Battery box is a neat idea too!

I have bought a battery box from a LHD GS. The intention is to install it to run a dual battery system.

The outer panel of the battery box remained, just removed the rear and inner panels which opened up the back a bit more, especially with the spare wheel in the other side.

I like the setup well enough to do it with my coiler build also.

    I will play this game.

Plastic fold down cup holders pop riveted to the engine cover.
it comes in handy to hold my mobile phone too.
I have one on each side of the engine cover.
