Dseddn's Red 101 Back on the road

Hi thanks to Brian AKA Bearman, I am back on the road with a fully rebuilt gearbox and transfer case with tapered roller intermediate shaft.
He did a very good job.
So after getting it going where to go and try it out. It is not like back in Vic where just 30 kms and I was in premium 4x4 country. The only track I know of close by is the Bridal track in the Southern Flinders 170 kms away and only about 10kms long.
So off I go with rusty my dog, we had a great day not very much low range but a good test for the new box.

The 101 is so much quieter now, it shows that the old box was very noisy from the start.

Heres a couple of shots from up top looking over the Spencer Gulf.

Good to see it back on the road.
I did the same with the LT95 in my hybrid. Silly me put gear oil in it. That was quite some years ago.
Bridal Track looks so much greener than when I was there at easter.
