You have done it correctly; the small photos are called thumbnails and they are the best for a forum, because they load quickly when a user opens a post. If you click on your thumbnails, they enlarge to a useful size.

Full-size photos on a forum are pain sometimes, because if there is slow internet, they take forever to download and if the reader has already seen them, it can be rather irritating to have to wait for ages,
