    It's got a BH Engineering 3.9 in it, relatively hot cam and the heads ported properly.
    Initially ran a pair of SU's before I did an efi conversion on it, after which it really came alive.
    The reckoning is somewhere north of 220bhp, whilst it's still pulling hard at 140 kph.

    I'd love to put mine and Cooee's side by side and see how they go in a drag... Think it'd b fairly close. The V8 would probably have the lead to 90kmh then the diesel would catch.. Similar hp and top speed!!

    thumper 101 update

    well few photos thought I give cabin bit of bling just take time
    put 10m insulation under engine cover that makes big difference
    covered marine carpet over top
    put 5 ml insulation on floor and under seats really quiet in side now
    just got to finish driver side re mount seat
    next job over head console dual batteries behind passenger exhaust
    so give more updates later

    The tacho reading up to 11,000 RPM is a bit ambitious don't you think?

    more work on thumper

    well I been bit busy at work last week so over last 3 days did few
    jobs
    pull all brake drums off cleaned and painted and check brakes rear brakes
    will need new shoes so next job fronts good
    cleaned chassis down with big pressure washer came up good and started
    painted chassis and axles as well as hubs
    getting exhaust system sorted out tomorrow dual system out near rear wheel
    took for run today with my old no 5 camping trailer behind thumper really got some poke in 3 gear going up hill
    do like sides curtains and door top off
    more up dates later
