Hi Steve,
The basic diff is the same as other LR sals BUT the axles are larger, so the two side gears are larger but not such an issue if just doing the pinion.
The spreader should be the same as the housing is the same but having said that I have only used a home mate version which worked well.
Well Dana and Sals are the same basic design and many parts such as gears are interchangeable, but given the common Sals in many LRs I would just go the Sals parts to be sure.
I have not done a pinion but I have had the rear diff out to put in a detroit locker and change some bearings. Hopefully someone will be along to discuss the pros and cons of using crush washers vs fixed thickness washers on the pinion - in the mean time you might research this - but I dont know.
The only thing I would say to watch out for is the spreader. The one I used would sometimes pop off - sometimes just falling off but others displaying a bit of tension - not sure it is really needed as I could also use a big lever to prise the diff out without the spreader and to put it back, a big rubber mallet helped.
