Hi Team I thought a read somewhere, that someone was putting a td5 into their 101. If that person is on here thats done it or if you know who has, can you let me know as I am keen to ask some questions as I am considering going this option. Thanks in advance

I believe that quite a few run three hundred tdi - although I would be worried that it is under powered and the three hundred tdi isn’t a spring chicken anymore. Although it is a good engine.

It'd be a bit over 10 years ago.............doing a lot of fish surveys to the north and NE of Melbourne. The boss lived in north Eltham so we were leaving from there.
Nearly every morning on the road after Research there'd be a 101 coming the other way into town from the north and always going at a fair clip.
For some reason I knew it had a TD5 in it and it lived out Whittlesea way, it was green and could have had TD5 stickers on it.
