    Looking good

Great to see it got back to your place safely.

I'm in Canberra Monday 18 and Tue 19th sadly not with the 101

I agree the master cylinder is a special case. I've not had to rebuild mine yet touch wood. I would check the shocker rubbers too. They had a habit of self destructing the top rubbers on the rear and both top and bottom on the front.

Breaks are about the same as Series 3s. Be aware that they can get air stuck between the tube running from the top and bottom slave cylinders.

I look forward to seeing it at Cooma.

Oh does yours have a platoon name on the door? I can't see from the pictures.

    Cheers

    Thanks Mate

Shockie rubbers are u/s. I have worked out where all the bleed screws are and have been pretty innovative in the past in bleeding systems so we will see if I still have the magic touch. The only thing I have on the drivers door is a rapier logo - also my spade holder is on the drivers side of the nose where most others I have seen have it on the passenger side - not sure if this is important.

I don't have the Rapier logo and I can't see if it was ever on my truck but I know there are at least 2 vehicles from the Missguided Platoon. As I understand it they used to operate in 3's.

I'm not sure about the spade holder. The Land Rover club of Victoria ran an article in their magazine last year which had a number of operational shots. I'll see if I can drag them up.

I haven't had a problem with the 101 break bleeding but I have the same breaks on my 68 Fire Striker and lets just say I was ready to set it on fire and dance on its ashes at one stage

While I cant find my copy of the mag, I have that article scanned. In all the pics I can see where there is a spade affixed it is on the passengers side.

This seems to be the only one where the little missile appears on the door.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Those pics are great - the 101 for sale in Bonnie Doon on ebay at the moment has the missle on the passenger door. All Aust pics of 101s all have their spade holder on the opposite side too mine - not sure it is important.

I wouldn't mind receiving any pics anyone has of 101s in service Pleeeaaase

    Yes thats the Article

I used to have the original pics but I seem to have misplaced them.

So the Boni Doon vehicle is on Ebay again this is now the 3rd time. It is MissGuided the sister ship to mine. I'll have to see if he has dropped his price.

I suspect that the Bottom of my doors are not original as I can't see any example of the missile insignia.

Not all the units wore the insignia, nor evey vehicle. they wouldn't have been painted on spare doors for example (many of which were sold at auction )

Posting another thread with the pics now in REMLR.
