Andrew AKA Cooee Has Been Busy

We all admire Little Thumber - the jolly Yellow 101 owned by Cooee - well he, as in Andrew, has been busy again making his truck even better. He has installed LPG with twin tanks (big) and done some work in the cab so he can put in his radio and UHF.

Andrew said it was OK to put these pics he sent me up on the site.

Is this the yellow 101 that was directly opposite me at Cooma?

    Was yours there, too, Garry?

That is such a nice 101"!

Does anyone know what rims and tyres he is using?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

It is the yellow 101 and unfortunately mine was not there - it is running but not yet ready for rego.

Dianna - I believe the wheels are widened standard rims and the tyres are 38" either SIMEX or MAXXIS - not sure.

    Been talking to Andrew today.
His gas system runs two donuts , one before each carby and a Italian three stage gas convertor mounted on the motor.
He is talking about getting vacuum diaphram lift on the CD Strombergs to finish things off.
The twin donut set up is a standard set up for carby 3.5 rover motors.

I think he said 90 lts each.
A 101 landy will need this to give the same range as per the 110 lts petrol tank.
It should work well if Andrew wants to do extended trips and will give a range of over a 1000 kms if using both fuels
