That is a very clean 101.
I cant wait to get your first impressions of driving it.
As you have experience of other rover models you should be well equipt to make fair judgements.
I hope Gaz you have been working out and geting your steering and braking muscles in shape........

Well at long last the 101 is now sitting in my driveway. i have to say its actualy smaller than i was expecting it to be. but thats a good thing too. havent even had a change to sit in it yet as i was late for work so just signed the delivery docket and off i went. now the fun starts. getting it ready to licence.

Not sure "Late for work" is a reasonble excuse.

    101 progress

G day all. yes have been busy on new toy. found the outline of a few shapes so peeled the paint off to have a look. the paint scheme seems to match the photo of a 101 i found on the net so far. just have to find out what the writing on the doors means. the same thing is written on both. the bridge weight disk had what looks like a 3 on it. the writing inside has two dates and some letters. oh and the comments from the posts above is what my ex told me. bitch ha ha

Ghee Whizz - you have your new toy for 2 secs and you are already pulling it apart.

I do not know a lot about the UK/Nato 101s but I believe the Nato ones had the cam and the early home vehicles were the bronze green - I assume paint on individual vehicles changed as vehicles were rotated through different units.

Good to see you are enjoying it
