SupporterFinally did a deal on an ex army unimog to replace my Mercedes ma911 truck.
It will be involved in road making with a 4500l water tank and carrying concrete culvert pipes up fire trails. Not looking forward to the 650km drive home in it tomorrow though..
Sounds awesome, but....

SupporterPicked it up from the mid North Coast this morning, just got home after a 650km drive, it went like a charm at 80km/h... It really needs that over drive.
It's got a ton more grunt than the MA911 that it replaced..but then again, a hair dryer would have more power..

SubscriberGoing by the door markings,I think it was a 'Repair parts store' vehicle. As they were part of RAEME wokshop units it would be well looked after.Looks great.Enjoy your new ride.Cheers Hallsy.

SupporterThanks John, I was wondering about the markings and what they mean.. Is that the lower numbers or the little picture on the centre of the door.
I looked at a lot before settling on this one and it's in really really tidy condition inside and out..
I put my tank and pump unit onit today ready for a job tomorrow, just got to run the air controls for the rear spray bars, but essentially it's straight to work
Nice looking rig. Love the crane too. Very useful bit of kit.
