    130 Tub suit 110?

    Will a 130 tub fit a 110.

With the upcoming Wagon to tub or tray conversion I have been offerred a 130 Tub for $ 500. It's in very good nick but no lights etc.

Just want to make sure it will fit.

it should fit, but you'll have a decent sized gap between the front of the tub and the back of the cab

    Pete,
You might not have as big a gap between the cab and a 130 tub as you think. This is a pic of a new 110 HCPU and the bottom pic is photoshopped to see what my 120 would look like with a tub and 'extra cab'. Obviously you would have 10 less inches to play with in your chassis.

    Hi Murray

As you know , I couldn't bring myself to selling the Suzu

The 110 will be converted to either a tray or a tub.

The tub looks more original but a tray may be more versastile.

I have the options of a very nice 130 Tub in red for $ 500 that'll need a respray to my Green

    or a

" Well used " ex brickies aluminium tray for $ 100 that may need some tidy up.

Given that this is meant to be a budget but good conversion the tray may win out

Yeah, I have had trays and tubs on various vehicles and trays are certainly more versatile.
I picked up this tray which I will most likely end up using on the 120 Isuzu Extra Cab project. It's a bit grubby, but it's solid and straight and it'll clean up nicely.

It's 2150 x 1830 and it was previously fitted to a Defender 110 single cab, that's why it should suit my 120 extra cab nicely with the extra 10 inches in the chassis. Cost me $200 and had to pick it up in Deer Park. It also came with the roof rack that's on it. The canvas needs a couple of minor repairs, but it's still in fairly good nik.

I was chatting to a guy at the Yarra Glen 4x4 swapmeet. He just happened to be a member on here and had the tray lying around just waiting for someone to give it a new life.
