    Number plates- no identity crisis here!!

    My fathers day pressie arrived today. I always have had the LANDIE plates & was surprised to see they had LAND1E available- could'nt help myself.

    Nice. Haven't the Vic prices gone mad lately though? Almost a g for Euro plates - and they're not even proper alphanumeric ones like the NSW Euros.

    And the rest - I knew a guy who had "Lance" plates. They cost $5k in 1996.

    SSHH, dont say that - Vicroads will put up the prices.

    $495 here, but I wonder if there is a sting in the tail- ie higher renewal fee's. - I bet they have a grand plan

    No renewal fees in QLD. Pay once, then you own them.

    I think it's cheaper if there is a number in them from memory. i.e. Defender1 would be cheaper than Defender plates.

    $2295 to be exact, if they were available. Once only fee, yours for life. Unfortunately, both are taken
