What on earth could be wrong with the anti blast locks ??
I don't know the s3 well enough but I know you can't use 2a locks on a more modern chassis - that's why I said 'check'

I wanted to drop my old 2a body on a Td5 rolling chassis and it was 1000 little failed ADRs like door locks and windscreen whipers and distance of lights from the side of the vehicle that killed the plan

Yeah becauseone way of looking at it is that you are fitting a newer (and therefore safer of course) chassis and lower polluting engine to your OLD landy (as oppsoed to an old body to a new landy) if you get my drift.

It's all a joke anyway when there are heaps of unlicenced boozed up idiots in rusty old pieces of **** on the roads and very little is done about them.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I have Series 3 doors on my 110. I had to change the striker plates on the B pillar to match the lock type on the older doors. From memory, I needed to drill a couple of new holes to mount the series 3 striker plates. They are still the anti burst type (unlike 2A doors). I wanted to be able to galvanise the door frame as well as the extra knee room and removable door tops (I leave the door tops off most of the time). Have had some hypothermic experiences when the weather has turned bad and the door tops were at home in the shed.

Yeah, when I checked this out what I was told is the vehicle is the chassis which is a key perspective unfortunately.
