			02 Defender Indicators stopped working

					Hi All.

My recently acquired 02 Fender indicators have just stopped working.

No signs at all just working and now not working.

 Hazards don't work either.

It has a bull bar and extra front indicators.
I did notice that sometimes the trailer connected indication light flickered on and off.

They did work intermittently before they stopped completely and made a stange buzzing noise from either the steering column or RHS dash area.

Have checked the fuse in center fuse box ( the one shown with left /right arrows )as the # 8 fuse as noted in the hand book did not seem to match up.

Rear wash/wipe still works , inside courtesy lights still work?

It has just recently had a new indicator assemby fitted as part of the RWC in buying the car. Still feels loose though?

 Any ideas

Your flasher unit may have failed. It is a little box situated on the back left side of the metal plate in your fuse box (well it is situated here on my County, but i think the Defender should be similar). Have a read of the following thread where a similar problem and ways of diagnosing it are discussed. If the link doesn't work look in the Technical Chatter section for 'county indicators'.

					Mmmmm

The high beam flash doesn't work either.

Moved forward it does select high beam but pulling back does not
