I fitted 2 small spots under the tow bar (about 2 inch of a Subaru I think ) and hooked them up to a relay on the standard SVX reverse light, its the bee's nuts.

Hi Miky,
Yes I did this with TD300 and TD5 to get more reverse light onto driver's side where it is of better use. Had auto elect disconnect fog light and cross-connect reverse light from L/H side as you say - never had any problems with reverse light contactor switch (where-ever it is?) overheating but then not usually in reverse for extended periods. Have used (2) reverse lights as temporary area light at rear for up to 30 mins doing track-side tyre repairs at night with no problem.
With the Puma, I had to buy the whole reverse light assembly as the lens was no longer removeable or available as a separate part.
Regards,
Ok, I'll admit, I'm lazy
If I want more light I just turn the rear fog on. It might be red, but I can still see by it!
As mentioned before, you can't get just a new lens for the existing light, but given the extra work to do the wiring properly, you may as well just fit additional lights.
