    Britpart steering arms

Hey all, iv just went to fit some new HD steer arms i bought from Rovacraft (pretty sure theyre Britpart brand) and was wondering if theres supposed to be a locknut on the draglink (pitman arm end).
No nut came with the kit, but i was just wondering if one is supposed to be there?

I don't think so. The original was threaded on and had a clamp. The britpart one is screwed on and the locking nut is at the tie-rod end.

I will run out at lunch time to double check.

Just got soaked going outside but there is a lock not on both ends as others have stated.

Yep, fitted some to mine a while back and there's a lock nut on each end of both arms.

These also reffered to as HD track rods, as I hvae fitted these, they are Brit Part and they do have a lock nut on each end along with new Tie rod assembly.

I was told that factory track rods are like plastecine and first roo or rock you hit they will bend.

Ok thanks fellas, looks like i better chase up another nut from somewhere then. Any idea what size the thread is? Its the same as the genuine rod ends i think, is it going to be something wierd or just a standard thread?

What sort of $$ were the HD arms for Rovacraft? Did they come with rod ends?

$350 mate, and yes came with the 3 rod ends needed. They seem very heavy duty.
