Sorry, don't know anyone that can make sliders, one member here supplied me with CAD drawings which I have to convert and send back to him, then its time to learn to weld I suppose. Actually, Banjo made some nice ones, I was meant to buy some from him but totally forgot (Sorry Banjo!)

Yep, still good for Sunday, no other passengers...will let you know when i'll get to yours once I know...

You may find lightening your rear end-removing box- will have adverse affect on off-road articulation with rear end lifting a wheel easier (sway bar won't help either if you've got one on rear) I find this with my light alloy tray (I need it light as I sometimes load past GVM), often thought it might be worth carrying 300kg+ balast, or fitting diff-lock ,to solve this (still working on excuse to buy diff lock). Also, as width of tyres increases & tray gets lighter = lighter footprint & less traction

Hi mate, yeah I know they can be a bit more hazardous when the back end is light, used to travel a lot with an ex in a holden rodeo and saw how that thing travelled....
I wont be going for an alloy tray, it will definetly be a steel tray, preferably drop side. She does have an OME sway bar on the rear but that will be coming off as soon as I start 4wding a bit more. Either way, there are going to be 2 spare tyres, a large tool box (bolted to the floor and tyres have a mount that fixes them to the floor) and other camping paraphernalia in the back as well as a dog box and 2 dogs, so hopefully she will have enough weight to keep most tyres on the ground most of the time!
Diff locks are a dream at this stage sadly shes got a 2 inch lift kit that will be going on at some point when i have time, so that will be a fun endevour

If your looking for a "less expensive" rear diff lock send lucky8(us landy company) an e-mail but only if you have a rear salisbury. The detroit I got of him fit easily and was about 1/2 the price of the local supplier and shipping was pretty cheap as well! Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled...
