Tray for 110 ute - and update on my girl :)

    Hello everyone
I am on the hunt for a tray for my Defender 110 ute. Steel tray would be great, doesnt have to be in the best condition, but has to be somewhere in VIC, ACT or NSW. Either free to good home or reasonably priced please hoping someone could help me out?
And a quick update on my ute... i posted a thread a couple of months ago asking for advice and have just started on my modifications she is getting new tyres shortly - either mickey thompson mtzs or maxxis bighorns. Finally got cd player, speakers, and spotties hooked up, just waiting to get a uhf and aerial.
trying to decide whether or not to custom make scrub bars and sliders or buy them from bruce davis performance - any opinions?
getting diff guards and bash plate in the next month or so, then its out into the bush i go!

    Hi,
I got my tray (steel rails, wooden flooring, no sides) for $500 from a wrecker.
Had to modify it a bit to match the D130 mounting points to be able to use it.
Still some more modifications to make to get it where I want it.
Just an option you may want to explore.
    cheers

not a bad idea would be interested in giving it a go, except up here nobody has a tray the right length and width for my ute... am considering just cutting the box off and keeping the steel tray underneath for a while

10 minutes with an angle grinder and your dogs will have a big new kennel

If you can get the scrub bars and sliders made up by mates or make them youself, do it, save your money for tyres and other important things.

Get the front diff guard, I wouldn't worry too much about the rear yet, the rear is a pretty substantial piece of metal already.

Get your tyres and start driving and you'll soon find out whats important...I'm sure you remember how I came to need sliders stupid trailbike track...
