The site Dino linked to has chequerplate that covers the Puma 'Powerbulge' on the bonnet, first i've seen so far and would finish the look on some well chequered vehicles..

the grab rail is for mounting a Coles green eco $1.00 bag. surly SWMBO can organise that herself. besides it keeps all the bags on the other side

    Hi Guys
Thanks for all the suggestions and inspiration.
I have started on my own version and completed the ‘bottom section’.
I was able to retain the grab rail which I am happy about.
Just need to work on the top section now.
Considering hinging the standard dash top next like shown in the German thread.
    Cheers

    That looks real good.

Like to see the top as well when you have finished it.

    Thanks Guys.
Still not sure how to put the top section together?
It is coming out at all angles at the moment.
Might try to catch up with GAV110 and his fender at the September 26 expo to get some ideas.

Hey guys mine is still in progress. I believe Daniel is getting some mouldings done up which will make it look more original fitment - hopefully will be done or nearly complete by the show ! I will be on the stand apparently - probably after mid morning...

    Glove Box Update

    Hi Guys/Gals
I finally completed the top section of the glove box.
Used aluminium for the top shelf and dash cover (hinged).
Used dense foam (3mm) for padding and viny for external covering.
Now the Mrs has a place for tissues, phone and sunglasses etc.
I didn’t end up fitting 12v sockets. At this stage, just for storage.
    Cheers
