It is a good idea Alan, but after seeing a few with NO issues at all after a lift, and some that are almost undriveable with the SAME suspension fitted, then it is worth mentioning here that I believe chassis jigs and/ or design geometry somewhere was changed about '99 / '00. These are the models I have seen with more issues than any earlier. 
A Cardan joint fixes it straight away. I haven't had a problem with fitting a set of NRC9448/9449 front springs at any point, in any model.
