Does anybody have a picture showing the exact location of the Chassis numbers for a 85 County? I have checked the vehicle thoroughly and have yet to find it ... the chassis has been gal'd during a body off rebuild and is very clean so I am wondering if they got covered by the Gal? If I know the basic location to look I may be able to knock it back a bit to reveal the numbers.
Cheers, Si.

Numbers should be on driver side on outside of chassis rail, forward of the front axle. You should be able to see it despite the gal.
The rear chassis also looks modded.

Thanks Rar,
It was modded at the rear ... widened for the gas tank. The truck cleared REVS A-ok ... but with it being an import from Saudi Arabia, not sure when the Gal chassis went on. I have looked at the location you mentioned but will check again.
Cheers, Si.

Nice pick up Simon.
The Holley is easy to tune, but with the price of fuel, don't think you would want to run it on fuel too often
And offroad you would want to run it on gas only.
The chassis number must be visible,as when it was imported they had to have sighted it.
Hope to see you around when you get back home,as I am not far from the mountains.
