Well I have made a quick drawing and a couple a measurements, I dont have any real plans it was done of the cuff it just evolved into what it is. The led lights where from REPCO and the stub axle and flangless hub was from Martins trailer spares in Perth.

Hi Weeds, yes I used existing holes in the cross member but I am now actually thinking of welding it to the cross member now.

Can you post some pics of the swing aways? please.
Also I am assuming you used one piece for the rear section and cut it to get the angles on the ends??
Can you list the size tubing that you used for the bearing holders and also what type of stubs and bearing you used?
Would help heaps as I have been looking for something just like this, only drama in Newman is steel is almost impossible to get.
    Thanks

Hi Craig, I have photo's in the first post and a drawing on the second page.

the rear was made in a couple of pieces due to scrounging steel available, but would be best to be out of a single piece much easier to build.

the stub axles and flangles hub come from Martins Trailer Parts, they have a web site. the RHS that is used for the arms is 75 x 50 x 2mm.

It was heaps cheaper than buying a Kmar swing away, miles more work but I think it is better than any of the shelf product, I haven't seen anything like it on the market.
