:)Hi All
Thanks for all the comments:) i guess i;ll be running mine in a bit like yours DmDigital :), Bigjon I didnt know it was happening till we got to Sydney - the Eagles were awesome:) What colour is the 7000 kkm old one Gitney hope you keep having a good run:)
I run my diesels in my way and it has always served me well and getting out of Parramatta and the run up the pacific Highway is stop start isnt it:)
Sitting on the speed limit whatever it is has landed me 623 kilometres for 61 litres and yes shops in NSW still have some stock now that my wife has left the state:):D
Will have to go to supercheap and see if they have any land rover water wings to help me get home:):D
Regards Mark
Congrats Mark, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I'm enjoying mine. I'm a bit confused over service intervals though.
For service intervals my book & sticker says 20k, it's a MY11. I think I oughta stick to 10k like Scott says.
Pete
Officially, service intervals are 20000km but 10000km is advised.
If it's on a Corporate Plan, LR do a 10000km Health Check which does not involve an oil/filter change but, if it were my car I'd be doing an oil change every 10000km. Most customers do the same, given the choice.
Welcome to the club!
I do an oil change every 10,000km because of the poor quality of the diesel in SA. If your diesel is good, there should be no need to.
if you do lots of gravel/off-road driving, then an 10Kkm oil change is also recommended
10K is my preferrence too.
JC
I do a change every 10,000km max usually it's lower in the 5,000km to 10,000km range.
