    I've joined the puma club

    Hi All

    Late Monday afternoon in Parramatta we picked up our new wagon a white 110. I wanted a 130 but Sue wanted a wagon so we compromised and got a wagon. So far we only have 1100 kilometres on the clock but will have a few clocked up by Monday.

    Only saw one or two defenders between Parramata and Forster but saw about four or five between Forster an Caloundra and waved.

    Have t go and get some front mudflaps and then go down to dickie beach for a swim

    I've had my puma 110 for about 6 weeks now and loving it. Done about 7000k's of trouble free puma'ing.

    Scouse if you saw a white wagon on the lot that wsa mine i was the daggy looking bloke who looked like he didnt belong there.

    "Daggy looking bloke who looked like he shouldn't be there"!!!!! But I thought all Defender drovers looked daggy! I know I did when I had one... well 2 actually.
    And I'll probably look even daggier next year if (when?) I get another one!

    I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

    When I ordered it I walked through the dealership past the Jags, the Volvos the Range Rovers and the Peugeots dressed in clean jeans and a T shirt. Fortunately when I asked to order a Defender the salesman didn't ask me to keep my voice down or usher me to the broom closet to wait until they'd dealt with proper customers. The salesman proudly handed over the Defender at the front door when it arrived . He still keeps in touch.

    Congratulations on the new drive, hope the Puma gods have shone on you and it all happy days. It is a good time in life picking up a new car, and a Defer at that.

    Must be a Defender thing that dodgy look.
    I must admit I felt a bit out of place in my thongs walking past the RR's and D4's when I picked my Defer up. Oddly enough, just a week before another dealer didn't take me seriously because of my thongs, or he just doesn't return calls.
