    Brake Lights 110 TD5

    G'day guys.

So I just got back from a nice 5 week holiday and have come back to an issue with the truck...

Basically the brake lights werent working, everything else hunky dory with the lights just not brake lights and apparently this morning as well the reversing light.

There was a blown fuse in the box which I changed, but as soon as I pressed the brake pedal after changing it... pop, it went again. This can only lead me to believe it is a short or an earthing problem somewhere.

Question is... Is there anywhere I should start looking, any areas that are notorious?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

Most likely a short at one of the bulbs. Take the lenses off and check for water. remove, check and refit the bulbs.

Also look just inside the rear behind the panels where the lights pass through into the interior.

I generally look at the trailer plug first, easily damaged under the back. Then look at where the trailer plug wiring is connected to the loom.
