Thats the trouble with after market mods, I have to unbolt the seat, but at $15000 I read somewhere for the SVX seats its only four bolts.

I have had a local upholsterer do seat cushions and backs for the Series 2a, and the results were very good. However, I got new foams (Exmoor) for the 110, as these are moulded. I need to get the covering replaced in the near future, and will probably go back to the local bloke for this.

In my view the original seats are comfortable enough that it is very hard to justify the comparatively much higher cost of any upgraded seats (and the problems with, for example, under seat access and engineering approval). Even driving from here to Perth and back I had no problems with seat comfort, although this may certainly depend on your body shape and proportions.
