rear facing baby capsule in puma?

Has anyone used a rear facing baby capsule in a Defender? My search of the forum reveals a lot of discussion about child restraint anchor points (we have had a crab bar installed) and I did see someone comment that there isn't enough room for a rear facing baby capsule except in the middle seat.

We tried a strider steelcraft capsule for size in the carpark outside a pram shop today and it is indeed a very tight squeeze, requiring the front seat to be moved foward first. Has anyone had a capsule that fits more comfortable in a defender? New addition due April!

Can be done, or could be done on a '96 130. I used convertible Safe n Sound seats.

					Hey mate

We had in our defender a rear facing safe and sound Merridian AHR which really only fits in the centre rear seat. It does fit behind the front passenger seat but only if the steat is right foward and then the passenger has no room.

Good luck with the new arrivial, and if its your first dont make the mistake I did and crack open a bag of cheezels in the birth suite...I was hungry, missed dinner....wife cracked it, couldn't stand the smell of the chips!!

 Good luck.

I've only ever managed to find them to fit in the center. Good thing my 3 are now old enough to sit forwards now.
