At first glance, it looks just like my 1973 Series III LWB, apart from the colour.

I fact there doesn't seem to be much to distinguish it from the Series IIs I first saw in the middle of last century.

    I like the stickers.
The main problem was that my. Stickers were faded and nackered so needed replacing anyway as they made the car look crap

So I thought I would take them off which is what I would have to do anyway to replace them and see how it looks

And I am happy with it so far

Why would you feel the need to distinguish it from its ancestors?

I like it. And I think it looks younger while maybe giving a bigger nod to its big brothers.

Stickers date cars. The clean slab sides of Series, 110s, and Defenders are timeless and perfect unadorned.

That looks like a bargain for the 110 owners. 20" more for no extra cost.

Then again, function over form. I try to focus and performance when spending time/money/energy. Couldn't really care if there's a sticker or not, or if it's faded or not. So long as it doesn't slow me down

You mentioned "some good stuff from Bunnings". What did you use? May save me a bit of elbow grease.
    Thanks... David
