    Transfer case fill plug

    Hi All,

    This may seem stupid. I have a small leak from my transfer case. I went to drain oil and fill (lucky I tried fill plug first) But the fill plug / bolt seems to not want to undo.


    Any ideas on what I could try??

    I've seen people put them in with a rattle gun! Use a bigger bar.

    I put some No. 3 Aviation Gasket Sealant around the threads when I refit them.
