    Handbrake chatter

When stuck in long line waiting for yesterdays floods in Wollongong to clear a bit, instead of starting the Defender up to move a few metres at a time I just let it roll using the handbrake to slow it .I only did a few times because there was a terrible clatter and vibration coming from the handbrake (I think). Could it be all the driveline slack chattering or the handbrake pads not worn in to do some actual braking instead of just being operated in a normal handbrake operation. I would like it to be able to actually slow the the vehicle a bit if needed.Any other Puma owners have a similar problem.

Sounds pretty normal for a transmission handbrake. My RR is the same.

They don't like to be applied when the car is still moving.
