    130 Alloy Wheels mystery!

    Hello all!

Ok, odd one really, I sighted a double cab 130 Defender heading north on South Road in Adelaide about a year ago. It had twin spare wheels behind the cab on a simple smart rear tray. It was running on BFG Mud Terains and some really nice 5 spoke alloys. These were very similar to the alloys found on early Disco 4 doors (rounded 5 spokes). These were much deeper though. I have a picture of the truck.. the joy of camera phones and being stationary at traffic lights! I would post the pic but the rear rego plate is visable.. The plate was yellow and consisted of three letters only (you might know this guy. I now have a 130 and am modeling mine on this truck as it looked good. Any wheel pictures welcome, and any ideas how to post the pic without offending would be helpfull. Thanks. Simon, Adelaide (ish)!

    Hi,
My understanding is they don't have the load rating for use on a 130.

Hi there - that car is Peter Browns. If you want to contact him, look up PCB Land Rovers, down near the Adelaide airport.

That car is a weapon. I have been sand driving with him and it goes like stink. Must be chipped to within an inch of it's life

He is a very nice bloke and might even be able to source some for you via his company.

    Cheers
    David

Edit: here's his web address http://www.pcblandrovers.com.au/
