I'm pretty sure i drove by you in Rhodes a couple weeks back on Saturday heading back from the Sydney Camping Show (got to drool all over Davis Performance Landys SVX).

Did the mandatory wave of course... i think thats the first time ive seen a deefer with P plates on it. I was born in the 80's but i dont think too many were born in the 90's are on here. One thing is for sure though, you won't be loosing your licence anytime soon, like most other P platers in their drift spec 180SX's and commonwhores

Ahh cheers mate, yeah I think I saw you too. My mates and I are always spotting deefers near us and get overly excited when we spot one

Ugh, i can't stand P platers and their **** cars. A defender is a car that will get you anywhere, but a car that the driver intimately knows. I don't know anyone with their P's who could fix their car if it were to break down - I just feel as if, there is very little that could happen to my defender that I wouldn't be able to repair myself.

Nice display picture by the way! Is that up near the Gloworm tunnel by Lithgow? I was there last weekend hitting 60kph on Gloworm tunnel rd on the way up :P

    Good choice Alex,
I should have bought a landy as my first car, but it took another 23 years to get one.
Got any expedition plans with the mates?

My 11 year old boy has laid claim to my Defender once he hits 17. Looks like I might have to upgrade my chariot in a couple of years.

Haha well of course! I would like to drive to the border of NT/WA/SA by the end of this year - early next though I'm going to need new tyres, shocks, springs, a winch and some other niceties before I embark on that one :P
