Rear Seats for Defender
Hi all, just bought a 2010 110 off a mate and want to fit the rear seats.
Notice these can be bought through Exmoor etc - are they difficult to fit? - thought there might have been some pre-drilled holes, but cant see anything.

Hi Sam
3rd row seats are a factory order from new, and cannot be fitted by a dealer to a 5 seater. that is what I was told when I looked into getting a new one (they had a LE 5 seater, but could not make it into a 7 seater). I assume this means that it is either hard to certify afterwards (too hard for the dealer?) or that LR actually adds some fittings for the seats under the body.
Hope you can get it sorted out, and please do post your experience.

I'm sure it can be done, it has been done with Discovery 2s, they got all the seat and trim bits from a wrecker and fitted the lot. Then got the compliance plate changed. It can be done, just the dealers don't want to do it, or want to sell you a new one with the required number of seats. Try TRS or a Land Rover wrecker near you.
