But to answer your question - Yes, I have a OME 2" lift on the front without any problems developing at all. No vibration - No binding - No nothing.

Been in for over 12 months, been across the Simpson.

Thanks Rover i have read most of that thread.

Good to hear that they dont all bind.

I have OME 2" lift , fitted three weeks ago. I have had it to Austral Landrover (they have no idea) only to have them tell me the vibration I have at 80km to 100km was due to my number plate being loose

Any way I have just returned from M R Automotive and the solution is a D/C tail shaft. My vibration is minor but a **** off none the less.

If you proceed with OME ask them to check for tail shaft bind before you leave, if you have tail shaft bind then a D/C appears to be the fix.


I am looking on line at the moment to find the best place/price to get it from.

So yes there is some problems, but I reckon its worth it

Not spoken to them yet, but on line from lucky 8 they list a price of $298 US I think. dont quote me on that

Noz, have you replaced the front drive shaft as well?
It was my understanding that is where most of the vibrations and binding comes from.
But you are saying in yours its the rear drive shaft.

I dont think I said rear shaft ?


Anyway I am replacing the FRONT shaft
