It is a great site. You'll like it here. Welcome. I'm guessing there aren't too many Defenders in Tokyo.
japan is a big market for english brand with mini and disco.
theseare sold under a few brand names.
plenty of landrover.plenty of suzuki.
in fact i saw very few comercial landcruisers.
Im also guessing that a lot are exported as used cars.i tryed to get a 90 but too much money for me.

A lot of discos, freelanders, rangies and rangie sports, a lot less 90's and only a handful of 110's
As you say, hardly any commercial landcruisers at all, in fact only ever seen 1 here, that was an Aussie import! I guess they're just made for you guys and gals over there.
