series front door into 98 Defender
Can it be done?
Whats involved?
What tricks are there for young players?
catches/ hinge positions?
I want to go back to 2 piece doors without window register problems but will still leak like a real landy.
Regards

Military 110 doors just look like Series3 doors to me.
Cheers

Pretty sure Series IIIs use the same hinges as on a Defender
I've seen it done before
I'll try and track down a photo of a mate who fitted them to his Defender

Yeah, should fit but lock is different, should be able to maufacture something to make it work.. Military 110/Def doors look very similar (the door top glass is angled) not so easy to get hold of and prob cost a bit more.

The doors will bolt straight on, but the easiest swap will be if you get series 3 doors complete with the lock and striker mechanism.

Make sure you use the anti-burst type lock of the later SIII. The early tongue type locks don't meet ADR on the Defender.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
