I've done my bit of sand and dune driving all the way up the Skeleton and the Namib, courtesy of the previous regime and membership with the LROCSA.

The dunes north of Perth offer a very different environment being heavily trafficed with a lot of surface disturbance by drivers of inferiors. The fact remains that the moment a wheel kicks, the TC applies the brakes, thus breaking your momentum. Remove the ABS fuse and your back to 300Tdi configuration and the 90 is unstoppable. It does however record a failure/fault every time you do it.

After a year and a half of owning my Puma 90 my only criticism is the lack of a TC on/off switch.
