Thread: back end noise

    cheers blokes have looked at all said now, no sway bar on rear, no gear moving around, mine has been cut into a ute with drop down tail gate so its not rear door. if its shocks i should be able to flex it up and see how far they go down in stroke and work out wether thats it shouldent i ?

    Suggestion - if you jack up the back by the chassis on stands so the wheels are clear of the ground, and then jack up one wheel by the axle; if the jack is suddenly released you should be able to produce the noise and track it down.

    Yes, you could measure it without much trouble.
