As I mentioned on your other post,my first bet is that the cut off solenoid is losing power,the power to the cutoff solenoid on a majority of models but not all,comes from the glow plug relay.If the relay is faulty,you will lose the power feed to the solenoid.
You can feed 12v direct to the solenoid from another source and see if the vehicle keeps running.
Seeing that you have a test light,keep your test light on the solenoid connection while someone else starts the vehicle,keep the test light on the connection till the vehicle cuts out,and you will see if the power to the solenoid is lost.
